A Double-Edged Sword

In the face of skyrocketing demand among business customers for more bandwidth and for Ethernet-based services, providers face a double-edged sword. On the one hand, there is enthusiastic demand -- presenting a great opportunity for creating and deploying revenue-boosting services -- but on the other, there is the dilemma of generating sufficient access capacity to support these services.
