Positron’s next generation AK626LC Point to Multipoint line card enables the transport of high-quality, ultra high-bandwidth Ethernet business services and Metro/Macro Mobile backhaul services over bonded copper pairs. The AK626LC Point to Multipoint line card is a standards compliant ADSL2+/VDSL2 multi mode system built on the patented Aktino MIMO-on-DMT and with vectoring (DSM Level 2). The AK626 line card is capable of delivering up to 1Gbps of aggregate bandwidth over bonded copper pairs.

Feature Rich and Standards Compliant
The AK626LC line card is a standards-based multi mode product that provides superior performance and reliability compared to any other multi-pair copper product on the market. The unique multi mode capability allows the carriers to deploy ultra high bandwidth at short distances or extend the rate/reach beyond CSA limits. The AK626LC can be configured for all VDSL2 profiles up to 17a as well as ADSL, ADSL2, and ADLS2+ modes.

Improved Rate and Reach
Utilizing Positron’s unique multi-channel signal processing techniques, the AK626LC can transport more bandwidth on fewer pairs than any other solution available in the market today. The AK626LC inherits and exploits the patented MIMO techniques on DMT technology to cancel alien-crosstalk and can achieve 50/100 Mbps bandwidth on long loops. On short loops the vectoring (DSM Level 2) self-FEXT cancellation technique can achieve up to 400/800 Mbps bandwidth on four and eight bonded copper pairs.

Ease of Installation and Management
The AK626LC can be securely managed by AktinoView (Positron’s GUI software application) or via a Command Line Interface (CLI). The AK626LC interoperates with industry standard Network Management Systems providing comprehensive performance monitoring for both Ethernet and Physical layers.
